Is Luxus Hills A Good Buy?

It is the dream of many Singaporean to own a landed property. Landed properties make up just 5% of Singapore’s total housing stock. Owning a landed property is having full ownership of the land with title deeds instead of an undivided ownership in the case of a condominium. In terms of capital appreciation, landed property is the one of the most resilient assets.

Luxus Hills being developed by a reputable local developer, you can rest assured with the quality of the finishes. High-end branded fittings are being installed the units.

Being in a big plot of the land developed by a single developer, you can enjoy uniform modern facade of the landed properties around the area, unlike mature landed estate, the facade of the houses are not uniform and at times can be quite unsightly to have new and tall landed house beside old single storey landed property.

In term of pricing, the pricing for intermediate terraces at luxus hills (phase 16) starts from $3,288,000, which is priced at a competitively price-point for potential buyers.

Futhermore, with new development based on the Masterplan by the URA, there are definitely potential for investment in Luxus Hills.

First of these developements will be the North South Corridor.

Once the highly anticipated integrated transport corridor is completed, its dedicated bus lanes – serving express bus services – are expected to reduce transport time from northern towns to the city by up to 30 minutes. Affected towns include Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands and Sembawang.

Cyclists too are allowed to be excited by this novel expressway in Singapore, as they can use the dedicated cycling path to cycle into the city. The dedicated cycling path is a trunk route that links the cycling complex along the North-South Corridor. It will connect to park connector Networks (PCN) as well as to the out-and-out cycling path networks located in the towns located along the corridor.

Secondly, will be the new MRT line that is under construction and due for completion in 2029.

When completed, the Cross Island Line (CRL) which starts from Changi, passing through Loyang, Pasir Ris, Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Timah, Clementi, West Coast and Jurong, is expected to have a daily ridership of at least 600,000 commuters. This will place the CRL higher, in terms of capacity and usage, compared to the North East Line.

LTA will construct the CRL in three phases. Phase 1 of the CRL (CRL1) is 29 kilometres long, and comprises 12 stations from Aviation Park to Bright Hill. This will serve residential and industrial areas such as Loyang, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Defu, Hougang, Serangoon North and Ang Mo Kio. More than 100,000 households will benefit from CRL1, and common recreational spaces such as Changi Beach Park and Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park will also become more accessible by public transport. Construction for CRL1 is expected to commence in 2020 and be completed by 2029.

A commuter travelling from Ang Mo Kio can reach almost any part of Singapore using public transport within less than one hour, saving up to 30 to 40 minutes of travel time.
